Thomas Eichner is an artist from Maryland who grew up in a small town in western Pennsylvania. After graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, he moved to the Washington, D.C. area at 21 and built a career as an illustrator and graphic designer. Over the years, he became known for his detailed architectural renderings—a skill that naturally carried over into his painting.
Thomas has always been inspired by artists like Andrew Wyeth and Norman Rockwell, and his work reflects a love for storytelling through realistic detail. He especially enjoys painting rural landscapes, coastal scenes, and wildlife.
Now retired, Thomas lives in Rockville, Maryland, with his wife, Marilyn. They raised five children there and are now happily surrounded by their six grandchildren. Painting remains one of his greatest joys.
